Instructions
- Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken to the hot skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper. Cook for another minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through and coated in the flavorful sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
Notes
Pat the chicken dry before seasoning to ensure a nice sear. Cut the chicken into even-sized pieces for uniform cooking. Adjust cayenne pepper to your preferred spice level - start with 1/4 teaspoon if sensitive to heat.
